The Inspiration
For Lukita’s red-carpet look, my focus was restraint. With the hair and wardrobe setting the tone, I wanted the makeup to feel timeless and a little cheeky. Never too doll-like or too edgy. I built and blurred washes of color into the skin like watercolor, softening the edges and letting a little glow catch the light.
Eyes
I used the LV Ombres Eyeshadow Palette in 724 Monogram Dune, keeping the color softly diffused to complement the overall look.
Lips
I started with LV Baume Lip Balm in 098 Stellar Veil, then layered LV Rouge Matte Lipstick in 109 The Great Escape on top for a soft, blurred, silky finish.
The finishing touch was knowing when to stop. It is always tempting to add more, but keeping the makeup understated gave the whole look room to breathe.
